East Bay Group – The Psyche & The Sacred 2011-’12

The Psyche and the Sacred
A Unique Opportunity for Personal Growth

Although this group is currently full, we are forming a new East Bay group to meet on Sundays

This group is appropriate for psychotherapists and people in other fields who have done significant psychological work

Group meets at Peter and Daisy’s House in Berkeley.

This group designed to support participants in exploring the emotional, spiritual and somatic aspects of the Self.  Together we will create a sacred space for true community to form. Grounded in the interpersonal tradition of Gestalt therapy, the group will incorporate music, drumming, movement and poetry to encourage exploration, experimentation and reflection. As group members come to know each other at deeper levels, a sense of safety and trust develops. This allows members to risk working with both intra-psychic and interpersonal issues as they arise. As an established male and female co-therapist team, we are committed to establishing an intimate and nourishing context where group members can see and be seen, hear and be heard, understand and be understood.

Facilitated by Peter Cole, LCSW and Daisy Reese LCSW, CGP
The group meets Saturday per month, September to June.
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Potluck Lunch
